SharePoint 2007 : Switch to a Datasheet View

The Datasheet view is a special type of view that looks like a spreadsheet. This view allows you to copy information from the list to spreadsheet applications or do some calculations on data in the list.

To switch to the Datasheet view, open the Actions menu and choose Edit in Datasheet (see Figure 1).

The Datasheet view displays all the columns that were on the standard view (see Figure 2).
